Inside Our Canine College Program
At Furry Friends, our Day Train Program helps pups build confidence, manners and real-life obedience skills all during their regular daycare day.
Each 30-minute private session focuses on gentle, one-on-one training that’s fun, consistent, and rewarding for your dog.
Program Goal
To introduce and build reliability in key obedience skills, improve leash manners, and strengthen calm, cooperative behavior around people and other dogs.
Trainer
Led by Rebecca Tamminga, certified trainer (CCPDT) and Furry Friends expert, using positive reinforcement through treats, praise, and play.
Method & Rewards
We use gentle, reward-based training, encouraging desired behavior through positivity and clear boundaries. Owners can bring their pup’s favorite treats, or we’ll provide our premium freeze-dried liver treats for top motivation.
Training Schedule
Sessions are scheduled after playtime, when your dog is relaxed and focused, ensuring maximum learning and retention.
Progress Tracking
Each session’s progress is logged, and you’ll receive a detailed accomplishment report at the end of the program.
